It's a blizzard!

We have blizzard like weather conditions in central PA today! It's frigid cold and extremely WINDY!

I dug into my Bible to find comfort as I watched a portion of my fence swaying in the extreme wind! Living alone presents challenges sometimes and in the midst of a physical storm, the challenges can feel scary! Will the power stay on? Will that piece of fence be blown over and come sailing into my sliding glass doors in my family room? Will the HUGE pine tree at the edge of my patio get blown over? If we allowed, there are so many 'what ifs' that could trouble us and send us into a panic. I can't even imagine what life might be like without FAITH in my God of the Universe!Today I'm resting on God's Word.

Psalm 4:8 - "In peace I will both lie own and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety."

Psalm 27:1 - "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?"

Deut. 33:12 - "The beloved of the Lord dwells in safety. The High God surrounds him all day long dwells between his shoulders."

Psalm 91:11 - "For He orders His angels to protect you where ever you go."

and on and on are the verses of assurance of God's protection and care.

I could go on and on sharing the verses of assurance of God's protection and care. If you worry....take heart...He is good! May you all be safe and secure in the strong arms of Christ!
